KUBO Sibling Support

At KUBO, we are dedicated to building a foundation of positive sibling relationships and experiences within a safe and nurturing space. Our mission is to cultivate a sense of togetherness and understanding among siblings of neurodivergent youth, neurodivergent siblings, and their families.

Joint Sibling Sessions

Centre-based sessions for both/all siblings involved
Best for siblings who may both have behavior support needs
This may also be for siblings whose interactions & sibling conflict tend to escalate to aggression
May also be for siblings where one of them wants to connect with the other, but would benefit from additional support to do so

Sibling Connections Groups

Provides siblings with an opportunity to meet other siblings in a relaxed, pressure free environment.
Siblings will have the opportunity to discuss common joys and concerns with other siblings of neurodivergent individuals.
Siblings will have the opportunity to learn how others handle common situations commonly experienced by siblings of neurodivergent individuals.
Siblings will have the opportunity to learn more about their sibling's disability or neurodivergence, and will learn more about neurodiversity.
Parents will have opportunities to learn more about common sibling experiences

Sibling Counselling Services

We provide centre-based counselling sessions for siblings struggling with their mental health and well being
We also provide virtual and centre-based counselling sessions for parents needing support with navigating parent-child and sibling dynamics
